About & Philosophy
I have always been drawn to the messy, complicated, and meaningful parts of the human experience. Navigating my own experiences of change, identity, loss, relationships, and motherhood is what brought me to this work. Through my own journey, I’ve come to believe deeply in the power of human connection and the healing and growth that becomes possible when we don’t have to walk our path alone. Through this lens, I see my role as a therapist as a companion walking alongside you through the inevitable challenges, joys, and complexities of life. My goal is creating a warm & genuine space where you can exhale and show up as you are - that safe container is where the healing and growth happens.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University Seattle and am currently practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA)* under supervision. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in nonprofit and behavioral health settings supporting both adults and children in case management and counseling roles. These experiences have shaped how I show up in this work: leading with my heart, staying curious and open, and always acknowledging the systems and circumstances that influence our ability to be truly well.

My Approach & Philosophy
My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, strengths-based and grounded in curiosity and compassion. I take a whole-person approach, recognizing that our well-being is shaped by the interconnectedness of our minds, bodies, relationships, spirit & the many environments we exist within. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or perceived deficits, we’ll look at the bigger picture and consider the many factors that influence how you experience yourself and the world around you.
I most often draw from attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Comittment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness & somatic approaches to explore the connections between your inner world, body, relationships, and lived experiences. My work is also done from a foundational understanding that we are shaped by our identities, histories, and the systems we move through - this includes systems that can create and perpetuate harm, marginalization, and chronic disconnection. I hold space for the whole picture, while honoring your expertise in your own life.
My practice is LGBTQIA2S+ affirming & inclusive of diverse relationship structures. People of all identities, backgrounds, abilities, and life experiences are welcome here. My hope is to create a space where you can show up as your whole self.
My Areas of Focus
-
Maybe it feels like despite knowing what you want, you keep ending up in relationships or cycles that don’t feel right. Maybe you find yourself shutting down or blowing up during conflicts & wishing you could find the words to stay grounded and say what you really mean.
Together, we’ll explore the patterns and stories you bring into your relationships, work to understand your values, needs and desires, and build a strong foundation for healthy and fulfilling relationships.
-
Maybe your mind feels like it’s always running, you’re caught in cycles of overthinking, or you’re having a hard time finding your footing in the midst of uncertainty or change.
I can offer a space for us to dive deeper and develop a different releationship with anxiety. This can look many different ways, but I often draw from mindfulness, IFS/parts work & ACT in working with anxiety.
-
Whether you are adjusting to the unique experience of pregnancy, processing your birth experience, or navigating the journey into parenthood, therapy can offer a space to be held in the many changes that accompany this new chapter of life.
As a mother myself, I have experienced the complexity of this vulnerable, beautiful and often challenging time. We’ll allow space for all the parts of you that might need care, explore identity and values, and find ways to feel grounded and supported as you reconnect with yourself in this new experience.
My work is always inclusive of all family dynamics, parent/caregiver roles & gender expressions.
-
Maybe you’re moving through a loss that has changed your life and the way you navigate the world: whether that’s the death of someone you love, the ending of a relationship, or the loss of what you thought your life would look like. In therapy, we make room for your unique experience of grief, and together we’ll navigate what comes next.
-
There are some experiences in life that continue to affect us long after they happen.
Together, we can honor and gently explore how your past experiences continue to impact you while building feelings of safety, self-trust, agency, and self-understanding in the present.
-
It’s hard to live in your truest, most authentic self when you haven’t had the space or time to discover who that is. Maybe you’re in a season of life that has made you feel disconnected from yourself. Maybe you’re struggling with confidence or self-worth.
We can co-create a space where you can get curious about who you really are and what you want your life to look and feel like. We’ll explore who you are beneath the expectations, roles, and stories you've inherited and make room to discover a life that feels vibrant and wholly you.
